Lesson #1. Day 1 - 6:30 AM. Going sugar free saves time. I probably added 15 seconds of time for me to do other things by simply pouring a cup of coffee and NOT adding sweetener. Normally I'm a Splenda & International Delight Vanilla or Hazelnut kind of guy, but it's pure black this morning. As an added bonus, Lesson #1A is that your coffee lasts a lot longer. When you're used to coffee not tasting much like coffee actually tastes, you sure drink it a lot slower. More time. Extended experiences. Not a bad first lesson.
Far too many in my family have battled cancer, so a month dedicated to a challenge like this is the least I can do.
